Zelensky announced Ukraine–U.S. talks on November 30

The Ukrainian delegation is heading to the United States to discuss a plan to resolve the war; the meeting will take place on Sunday, November 30, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The head of state confirmed that the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and head of the Ukrainian delegation, Rustem Umerov, together with his team are already on their way to the United States.

"Today Rustem gave a briefing, and the task is clear – to promptly and substantively prepare definitions of steps to end the war. Ukraine continues to work as constructively as possible with America, and we expect that the results of the meetings in Geneva will now be finalized in the United States."

– Zelenskyy said.

He added that he expects a report from the Ukrainian delegation on the results of the work, which will take place this Sunday.

Umerov’s statement

Umerov said the Ukrainian delegation is travelling to the United States to continue work on coordinating further steps aimed at achieving a just and sustainable peace.

He said that in the morning he briefed Zelenskyy on the state of preparations, key positions and the expected outcomes of the next stage of negotiations.

"In the US we will continue to coordinate all the proposals that were formed during the meetings in Geneva. Ukraine continues systematic and constructive diplomatic work for the sake of a dignified peace."

– he summed up.

Context

The day before, Bloomberg wrote that Ukrainian officials would meet in Florida with US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

On November 29 it became known that Zelenskyy updated the composition of the delegation for the negotiations. It was previously headed by Andriy Yermak, but on November 28 the president dismissed him from the post of Head of the Office of the President.

EU Against Google: Why the Latest Fine Could Change More Than Previous Ones

# European Regulators Target Google Again — This Time Over Digital Markets Act Violations. What's Behind the Accusations and Why It Matters Beyond the Corporation European regulators have renewed their scrutiny of Google, this time focusing on alleged violations of the Digital Markets Act. The charges underscore Brussels' increasingly aggressive stance on big tech monopolies and what officials say are anticompetitive practices. The accusations center on how Google leverages its dominance across multiple digital services — from search to advertising to mobile platforms — to disadvantage competitors. Regulators claim the company is using its market power in ways that stifle innovation and limit consumer choice. The case carries significance far beyond Google itself. It signals how the EU is attempting to enforce its landmark Digital Markets Act, legislation designed to curb the gatekeeping power of tech giants. A potential penalty could set precedent for how other large technology companies face similar scrutiny. For consumers and smaller tech firms, the outcome could reshape the digital landscape by creating more room for competition. For Google, fines and operational restrictions could fundamentally alter its business model in Europe, the world's most stringent regulatory market. The case also reflects a broader geopolitical divide, with the EU pursuing a regulatory approach that contrasts sharply with the lighter-touch oversight favored in the United States.
