Network and service: what happened

Nova Poshta announced a partnership with the American logistics giant UPS. From now on, documents and parcels weighing up to 30 kg from the USA to Ukraine can be arranged through more than 6,000 UPS Store locations across the country. The company states the delivery time is from seven days, and service costs start at $25 per shipment up to 1 kg and reach $200 for parcels up to 30 kg. Insurance is included in the price for shipments up to $150; for more expensive goods a commission starting from 0.5% will apply.

Why this matters

This move is not just about convenience for ordinary Ukrainians in the USA. It is an additional logistics channel for humanitarian aid, small and medium-sized businesses, and private transfers during the prolonged war. The USA became the 17th country where Nova Poshta operates — which further diversifies delivery routes and reduces the risk of overloading European corridors.

In numbers and plans

Today, shipments via UPS Store provide a simple route for the diaspora: access to a network of locations, a fixed price range and an insurance option. In addition, in the 2025 report the Nova group finished the year with a profit of 2.6 billion UAH, and net revenue grew by 21% to 54 billion UAH — this indicates the reliability of the business model and resources for further scaling.

New CEO Yevhen Tafiychuk, in a comment to LIGA.net, also announced plans for 2026: launching terminals in Lviv, Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr and expanding the network of service points.

What’s next — a brief forecast

The partnership with UPS delivers practical benefits today, but its true significance will depend on two things: whether they can reduce delivery time to the announced five days and how actively they scale address delivery and franchising in Ukraine. For businesses it is a chance to stabilize supplies; for the diaspora — to support relatives and volunteer initiatives faster and more cheaply.

Summary: this is not a high-profile diplomatic initiative, but a practical logistical step that strengthens ties between Ukrainians in the USA and those who remained here. Whether the new channel becomes a systemic tool for aid and trade depends on the operational delivery of the promised services and the company’s ability to scale the network.
