Closer than ever: officers become part of the community
The opening of the police station in Brovary district is a vivid example of how authorities and law enforcement are implementing the principle "A police officer is your neighbor". From now on, two community officers — Senior Lieutenant Oleh Polishchuk and Sergeant Stanislav Bondarenko — will be responsible for the safety of seven settlements in the Zazymia community.
At the ceremonial opening, which took place with the participation of the leadership of the National Police and local authorities, Police Colonel Maksym Ocheretiany formulated the key narrative of the event:
"Security begins with trust. We strive for every resident to know: there is a police officer nearby whom they can turn to in any situation. The opening of this station is a joint step toward raising the level of security in the community," — emphasized Colonel Ocheretiany, highlighting the historic significance of the moment.

The social proof effect: a safety network covers the Kyiv region
The Kyiv region police are actively expanding their presence on the ground. It is noted that the development of the network of stations allows law enforcement to respond more quickly to citizens' appeals and to more effectively maintain public order, since they are in immediate proximity to people (Rozhny village, Svobody Street, 41).
Interestingly, this success is not isolated. This reliable security format is actively being implemented across the Kyiv region. It was recently reported that the 117th police station has already begun operating in the Baryshivska community of Brovary district. This powerful movement to create a safety network sends a signal to all regions of Ukraine and proves that the Ukrainian police are successfully moving closer to European standards, winning the trust of citizens.
