Bilohorodska community allocated UAH 1.3 million to support defenders and social programs

Bilohorodska Village Council adopted a decision to provide financial assistance totaling more than UAH 1.3 million under programs supporting the military and the "Turbota" program. This was reported on Facebook by village head Anton Ovsiienko following the extraordinary 90th session and the executive committee meeting.

Free meals for children of combatants (UBD)

Deputies amended previous decisions – now children of participants in hostilities from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will receive free meals in the community's educational institutions regardless of their place of registration.

Ovsiienko urged families to register in the community, explaining that every registered resident increases budget revenues and the ability to implement new initiatives.

Financial assistance programs

Under the program supporting Ukraine’s defenders, 72 applications were received totaling UAH 914,000. Assistance was provided to active servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, families of fallen soldiers, and wounded personnel undergoing rehabilitation.

Under the "Turbota" program, community residents submitted 73 applications for financial assistance totaling UAH 367,500.

New council decisions

The Department of Social and Veteran Policy will now handle the processing and issuance of certificates to parents and children from large families.

The executive committee approved rules for accepting wastewater into the centralized sewage system of PKG "Horenychi" and created a commission to resolve housing issues for internally displaced persons in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1176.

EU Against Google: Why the Latest Fine Could Change More Than Previous Ones

# European Regulators Target Google Again — This Time Over Digital Markets Act Violations. What's Behind the Accusations and Why It Matters Beyond the Corporation European regulators have renewed their scrutiny of Google, this time focusing on alleged violations of the Digital Markets Act. The charges underscore Brussels' increasingly aggressive stance on big tech monopolies and what officials say are anticompetitive practices. The accusations center on how Google leverages its dominance across multiple digital services — from search to advertising to mobile platforms — to disadvantage competitors. Regulators claim the company is using its market power in ways that stifle innovation and limit consumer choice. The case carries significance far beyond Google itself. It signals how the EU is attempting to enforce its landmark Digital Markets Act, legislation designed to curb the gatekeeping power of tech giants. A potential penalty could set precedent for how other large technology companies face similar scrutiny. For consumers and smaller tech firms, the outcome could reshape the digital landscape by creating more room for competition. For Google, fines and operational restrictions could fundamentally alter its business model in Europe, the world's most stringent regulatory market. The case also reflects a broader geopolitical divide, with the EU pursuing a regulatory approach that contrasts sharply with the lighter-touch oversight favored in the United States.
