Pain That Unites: Community Declares a Day of Mourning
Search-and-rescue operations at the damaged building have officially concluded. Sadly, there was no miracle: two deceased were found under the rubble. Bilohorodka village head Anton Ovsiyenko confirmed that the bodies have been sent for examination, and on January 29 the community will officially lower flags in mourning. This is not just a statistic — it is a shared pain that is turning into anger and resolve.
«Once again we have seen the strength of our community – how people come together in difficult moments, support one another and work together, despite fatigue and pain»
– Anton Ovsiyenko, Bilohorodka village head
Restoration in Mere Hours: Life Returns Despite the Enemy
Despite the scale of the destruction, Bilohorodka is showing recovery speed that Western partners often call the "Ukrainian phenomenon." Electricity and water have already been restored to homes. Tomorrow at 10:00 specialists will begin apartment-by-apartment gas turn-on — residents are asked to be at home to ensure everyone's safety.
Local businesses have become a special symbol of indomitability: entrepreneurs whose premises are in the same building hit by the drone reopened the very next morning. It is a powerful signal to the enemy — we will not be stopped.
