Irpin community launches closed Viber groups to provide targeted information to families — what it offers
Irpin’s Department for Children’s Affairs has created closed chat groups for large families, guardians and families of the deceased. We explain how they work, why they matter to the community, and how to join.

What happened
The Service for Children and Families of the Irpin City Council has introduced a system of closed Viber groups for targeted and prompt information delivery to families who require special attention.
Who it concerns
Separate chats have been created for large families, guardians and caretakers, as well as for families of fallen Defenders who are registered with the community. These groups share messages about children's health and wellness programs, distribution of aid, invitations to events, and explanations regarding social support.
Why it was done
This format allows information to be quickly filtered and delivered to those who truly need it — without unnecessary information noise. Closed groups also make it easier to verify participants and reduce the risk of irrelevant or personal messages in the public space.
How to join
If you are a resident of the Irpin community and belong to one of the specified categories but are not yet in a group — write to us in private messages or call during working hours at 0950245150. The service will verify the information and add you to the appropriate group.

Briefly on the consequences
The decision has a practical effect: it speeds up access to services and increases responsiveness to families' needs, particularly those who have lost relatives in the war. At the same time, it is important to monitor access transparency and the protection of personal data — these issues remain key during the digitization of the community's social services.
