Kyiv region: 16-year-old Anatoliy Koval missing — police ask the public for help

What is known

On March 19, the police received a report from a guardian about the disappearance of 16‑year‑old Anatolii Koval. According to the informant, at around 07:00 the boy left home in the village of Doslidnytske (Hrebinkivska community) and went to study in Bila Tserkva. He left the educational institution at 15:00 but did not return home. He does not have a phone with him.

Appearance and clothing

Description: height approximately 170 cm, slender build, dark hair. Clothing: black jacket, tracksuit, green sneakers; was carrying a backpack.

"We ask everyone who has any information about the whereabouts of the minor to immediately report it to the emergency line 102 or to the duty unit of the Bila Tserkva District Police Department."

— Bila Tserkva District Police Department

How you can help

If you saw the boy or have any information — call 102 or the duty unit of the Bila Tserkva District Police Department: 0 (93) 126 55 05. Even a small detail (time, direction of movement, a nearby vehicle) can become key to the search.

Why this is important

Speed of response is critical: law enforcement emphasizes that any report from citizens increases the chances of promptly establishing the person’s location. A calm, coordinated community response and timely information are a real safety tool for our children.

Now the task is up to us: notice, remember, and report — sometimes it is your call that becomes the decisive piece of the puzzle.

EU Against Google: Why the Latest Fine Could Change More Than Previous Ones

# European Regulators Target Google Again — This Time Over Digital Markets Act Violations. What's Behind the Accusations and Why It Matters Beyond the Corporation European regulators have renewed their scrutiny of Google, this time focusing on alleged violations of the Digital Markets Act. The charges underscore Brussels' increasingly aggressive stance on big tech monopolies and what officials say are anticompetitive practices. The accusations center on how Google leverages its dominance across multiple digital services — from search to advertising to mobile platforms — to disadvantage competitors. Regulators claim the company is using its market power in ways that stifle innovation and limit consumer choice. The case carries significance far beyond Google itself. It signals how the EU is attempting to enforce its landmark Digital Markets Act, legislation designed to curb the gatekeeping power of tech giants. A potential penalty could set precedent for how other large technology companies face similar scrutiny. For consumers and smaller tech firms, the outcome could reshape the digital landscape by creating more room for competition. For Google, fines and operational restrictions could fundamentally alter its business model in Europe, the world's most stringent regulatory market. The case also reflects a broader geopolitical divide, with the EU pursuing a regulatory approach that contrasts sharply with the lighter-touch oversight favored in the United States.
