Night strike on Kyiv: 37 injured, two killed, widespread outages
During the nighttime shelling of Kyiv on November 29, 37 people were injured and two killed; 15 were hospitalized. In Kyiv Oblast another fatality and more than ten wounded were reported. Energy infrastructure was damaged, leaving thousands of customers without power.

Consequences for people
As a result of the overnight attack on the capital on 29 November, 37 people were injured in Kyiv and two were killed, the city's mayor reported.

The interior minister reported that rescuers have extinguished all fires caused by the attack and are working at the sites of impact.

- In the capital, 2 people were killed and more than 30 wounded; rescuers saved about 40 people.
- In the Kyiv region, one person was killed and more than ten were wounded; over 30 facilities were damaged in the Obukhiv, Fastiv, Bucha and Brovary districts.
Infrastructure damage and outages
In addition to residential and administrative buildings, damage to energy infrastructure was recorded, causing widespread power outages.
By the morning after the strike, more than half a million consumers in Kyiv were left without power; over 100,000 subscribers were disconnected in Kyiv region, and about 8,000 in Kharkiv region.
Mobile Points of Invincibility have been deployed to provide people with heat and essential support.
The police are forced to restrict access to damaged buildings — this is a matter of safety. As soon as rescuers declare the premises safe, residents will be allowed to retrieve their belongings

According to the military, 36 missiles were used in the nighttime attack on Ukraine, including five “Kinzhal” missiles, as well as 596 drones. Air defense forces or other systems shot down or neutralized 19 missiles, including one “Kinzhal”, and 558 drones.
