Government funded UAH 259.3 million for five industrial parks

The Ministry of Economy has decided to provide approximately UAH 259.3 million to five industrial parks for infrastructure development under the "Made in Ukraine" program.

Allocation of funding

  • Industrial Park "Syhnivka" (Lviv region) — UAH 35 million for laying power supply networks, fire-fighting water supply, heat supply and a stormwater drainage system;
  • Vinnytsia Industrial Park (Vinnytsia region) — UAH 33.9 million for road infrastructure, water supply networks and construction of a transformer substation;
  • Industrial Park "Dolyna Stryi" (Lviv region) — UAH 63.9 million for external power supply networks, water supply and sewerage and reconstruction of the access section of the road to the park;
  • Industrial Park "Kryvbas" (Dnipropetrovsk region) — UAH 21.8 million for the first phase of external engineering networks;
  • Industrial Park "Fruit Industry" (Chernivtsi region) — UAH 104.7 million for construction of local wastewater treatment facilities.

The Syhnivka park and Vinnytsia Industrial Park already received funds last year for co-financing infrastructure; this time they applied to the Ministry of Economy to bring funding up to the maximum limit of UAH 150 million per park.

Program objective

The "State Incentives for the Creation of Industrial Parks" program, approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 644, is aimed at developing engineering and transport infrastructure under co-financing arrangements.

The list of works includes construction and modernization of roads, power grids, water supply and sewage systems, gas supply and other technical components necessary to launch production sites.

Number of parks and other decisions

To date, 112 industrial parks are registered in Ukraine across most regions of the country.

On November 24, the Ministry of Economy also decided to allocate UAH 81 million in state incentives to two companies managing industrial parks.

EU Against Google: Why the Latest Fine Could Change More Than Previous Ones

# European Regulators Target Google Again — This Time Over Digital Markets Act Violations. What's Behind the Accusations and Why It Matters Beyond the Corporation European regulators have renewed their scrutiny of Google, this time focusing on alleged violations of the Digital Markets Act. The charges underscore Brussels' increasingly aggressive stance on big tech monopolies and what officials say are anticompetitive practices. The accusations center on how Google leverages its dominance across multiple digital services — from search to advertising to mobile platforms — to disadvantage competitors. Regulators claim the company is using its market power in ways that stifle innovation and limit consumer choice. The case carries significance far beyond Google itself. It signals how the EU is attempting to enforce its landmark Digital Markets Act, legislation designed to curb the gatekeeping power of tech giants. A potential penalty could set precedent for how other large technology companies face similar scrutiny. For consumers and smaller tech firms, the outcome could reshape the digital landscape by creating more room for competition. For Google, fines and operational restrictions could fundamentally alter its business model in Europe, the world's most stringent regulatory market. The case also reflects a broader geopolitical divide, with the EU pursuing a regulatory approach that contrasts sharply with the lighter-touch oversight favored in the United States.
